In the world of website creation and maintenance, there are many pains that are hard to see but very real.
Feedback that don’t get across.
Mismatched understanding of specifications.
Confusion repeated every time there’s a handover.
And the reality that hard-earned results often go unnoticed and buried—
Each of these has weighed heavily on our colleagues, and at times led dear friends to give up their dreams and leave the field.
That’s why we felt strongly: this can’t go on.
To those still struggling and striving, refusing to give up—we wanted to help, even in a small way.
With that purpose, we took our first step to solve communication issues around feedback and launched MONJI Beta in 2018.
Years have passed. Now used not only in Japan but in 77 countries and regions worldwide, we now face the same essential question again:
“Why do we continue building this product?”
The answer is at the heart of our next challenge: MONJI+.

In 2025, MONJI Beta evolved beyond being just a “feedback tool” to address all the pains and hopes born in the web production field.

To support that, MONJI Beta was reborn as MONJI+.

―Meaning Behind the Name
The name MONJI embodies our origins and our hopes for the future.
It traces back to an old Zen teaching in Japan: “Furyū Monji” — “not relying on letters, but conveying from the heart.”
This is the spirit of Ishin Denshin (heart-to-heart communication).
Rather than letting heartfelt thoughts remain mere text,
we aim for words to be shared, understood, and resonated within teams.
This dialogue turns routine tasks into creation, elevating them into values that reach people’s hearts through the web.
We entrusted that vision—moving from simply telling to truly connecting —to the name MONJI.
And the “+” in MONJI+ represents our resolve to continue evolving together with our team.
This service could change someone’s future.
With that belief, we take the next step under the name MONJI+.
